The regular monthly political barometer was conducted by PORU (fielded on 24-25 Oct 2017) and presented on SKAI tv network (http://www.skai.gr/) on Monday, October 30, 2017.
Some of the most important findings are:
- 75,5% of the Greek population believes that we are moving towards to the wrong direction. On contrary, 16,5% believe that we’re going towards the right one.
- 56% are not satisfied with the government’s performance and they believe that there are better alternatives. 35,5% declare its dissatisfaction, whether they believe that there are no better alternatives. On the other hand, 6,5% is satisfied with the government’s performance.
- Regarding the most likely outcome of the upcoming parliamentary elections, 65,5% believe that New Democracy (the current main opposition party) will be the winner of while a 19,5% shares a different opinion as believes that SYRIZA (main governmental coalition party) would.
- Who is the most capable candidate as PM? 37% believe that noone is, 37% believe that the leader of opposition Kyriakos Mitsotakis is, while 22% answered that the current PM Alexis Tsipras is.
